Diondre McFadden

Move the Chains Academy was founded on the belief that football can be used as more than just a game — it can become a vehicle for opportunity, mentorship, exposure, and community impact. Founded in 2019 by Diondre McFadden, also known throughout the football community as Coach Mac, the organization was built from a vision that started years earlier between three former teammates from Midwood High School — Diondre McFadden, Andre Olivier, and Randy McCray. Although life took them in different directions after graduation and throughout their college years, the bond they built through football and their shared passion for helping young athletes ultimately brought them back together with one common purpose: creating platforms for student-athletes across the tri-state area.

Since its creation, Move the Chains Academy has rapidly grown into one of the region’s most active football-based organizations dedicated to youth and high school athlete development. Through countless hours of preparation, networking, organization, and planning, Coach Mac and his team have successfully created and operated impactful events and programs such as competitive camps, elite 7v7 teams, the Rising Stars Bowl, the 8th Grade All-Star Game, and the Underclassmen Challenge. Each event is carefully designed to provide athletes with exposure, development, competition, and memorable experiences that can help elevate them both on and off the field.

Coach Mac’s leadership and years of relationship-building within the football community have played a major role in the organization’s success. Through the connections he has established with coaches, trainers, media outlets, recruiters, and mentors, he has been able to open doors and create meaningful opportunities for countless young men navigating their football and academic journeys. His mission is deeply personal — to provide student-athletes with the opportunities, visibility, and experiences he once dreamed of having during his own high school career.

What separates Move the Chains Academy is its genuine commitment to community, mentorship, and growth. The organization is not simply focused on football performance, but on helping young athletes build confidence, character, discipline, and long-term opportunities. From local camps to large-scale showcase events, Coach Mac, Andre Olivier, and Randy McCray continue to push their vision forward while inspiring the next generation of athletes throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and beyond.
